Studio In The Woods

Fine Art Photography is located 20 miles west of Nashville in Kingston Springs.  For those of you who haven’t visited our town, we’re at exit 188 off of Interstate 40.  Kingston Springs is a beautiful community nestled in the rugged hills of south Cheatham County.  Wherever you’re coming from, we’re sure that you’ll find the scenic trip worth the drive.

Sheri’s “Studio in the Woods” is located at her home on 1 ∏ acres.  When she and her husband, Tim, moved here from Memphis several years ago, they designed and built their new home with Sheri’s studio in mind.  They allocated over 1400 square feet on the lower level with its own entrance.

As you enter, you’ll find yourself in a comfortable reception room where Sheri greets her clients.  Just beyond that is a large shooting room where Sheri does all of her indoor photography work.  She has a multitude of backdrops and accessories to make you photographs uniquely yours.  She even encourages her clients to bring their own props if they want that “one of a kind” photograph.
Off of the shooting room is Sheri’s office and a bathroom.  All of the studio is handicap accessible.

Outside on the property, Sheri has created at least a dozen sets over the past several years.  It has been an arduous process, battling late freezes, drought and herds of ravenous deer.  Fortunately during this time, Sheri could also make use of the spacious deck located off of her shooting room.  In addition, there are many picturesque locations (cabin, parks, streams, rivers, etc.) within a few minutes drive from the studio for you to choose from.
